SIT 'EM WEEK 6

Jamal Lewis/Jerome Harrison RB- BROWNS: Lewis returned with a roar last week to the tune of 117 rushing yards, but don't expect anywhere near that this week against a tough matchup against Blittzburgh . You think Derek Anderson's 2/17 game was bad...this could be worse.

Ray Rice/ Willis Mcgahee Rb - RAVENS: Love the players , but hate the matchup ( against Minnesota). This should be a very interesting game between two great teams..but I dont think either has a good game ( though i could see Rice being used more as a reciever)

LaDainian Tomlinson RB- CHARGERS:
He lacks the strength , speed and burst that made him one of the best running backs of the decade, and at 30 years old , the mileage is starting to take its toll. In week 4 he rushed 7 times for 15 yards against Pittsburgh , so expect the same against a suddenly deadly Denver defense.

Brett Favre QB- VIKINGS: This will most likely be a low scoring game involving 2 great defenses , so dont expect any of the Favre magic this week .

Calvin Johnson WR- LIONS: The lions are not disclosing the seriousness of "Megatron's" injury , but even if he plays , he wont do much against Charles Woodson or Al Harris.

Lee Evans/Terrell Owens WR- BILLS: Both have struggled mightily this season , and dont look for that to change against a fearsome Jets secondary.

Michael Bush/Justin Fargas RB- RAIDERS: They will be down by alot , and therefore have to throw...you dont want any piece of this "offense" on your roster.

  1. What do u think about the fact that Nicks is playing better than Mannigham (concussion/injury) ?

NYG play Saints (14th), Cardinals (32) and Eagles (7th)*

    PHI play Raiders (13th), Redskins(3rd) and Giants(1st)*

    * Defense ranking against receiving.

If you look at these numbers, Hakeem Nicks seems to be a better longterm option compared to Jeremy Maclin ?

I have Brandon Marshall, Sidney Rice and Nate Washington starting this week.

  2. For this week , I like Maclin more , as Nnamdi Asomugha will be covering DeSean Jackson , which means Maclin should have another strong game with Curtis out.

Nicks has shown flashes of brilliance and I think in the long run he will fare better then Manningham .He also has better hands then Manningham, who has had some dropped passes recently.

I think overall, Maclin will have the better year, even when Kevin Curtis does return, I still think he will be their #2 WR.

You're a brave man for starting Sidney Rice against the Ravens :)

  3. I guess I'll need to think about the Rice option.

Do you think it would be worth dropping Earl Bennett for Mike Wallace ?

  4. I think Wallace will have a better year then Bennett , and should be a good start this week against Cleveland. He may have a game similar to last week 2/52/1TD , and hes had over 200 yards receiving the past 3 weeks.
